We stumbled across this gig walking to the Pyramid stage to watch U2. It was pouring with rain, and I was transfixed by the vibrant energetic sound of these wonderful musicians, and was totally blown away by the fact they all changed instruments so seemlessly. As this gig was in a tent sheltered from the rain, we gave U2 a miss - and I'm so glad we did. We went for something to eat in one of the tents afterwards, and OMG, who came and sat on the table next to us a bit later on 🙂. For me - the best new discovery in 10 years of going to Glasto. Saw them in concert another 3 times before they split up. So sad that this combined talent has been lost to the world, and none of them seem to be touring UK now.

My homemade fallacies. The homeostasis fallacy. Because the condition exists now, it will always exist. Because my party is in charge now, my party will always be in charge so we should change the rules to favor my party. The danger of the fallacy is that when your party is inevitably out of power, your opposite party benefits from your changes. Or, revenue is up and therefore it will always be up, so we can therefore increase spending. The idea comes from nature and biology seeks homeostasis so this fools us into thinking homeostasis also applies to human society and interactions.

I saw these guys with Mahogany Rush in Montreal at Place De Nation. If you don't know Frank Marino the guitarist for Mahogany Rush, give him a listen, you'll be glad you did. Perhaps 2 of the greatest players at that time, and all for $4.00!! I still have the stub.
